A new software update is now available for the 2026 M7 GPS REMOTE & M5 GPS DHC, bringing improvements to GPS performance, battery information, course navigation, and overall system reliability.
What's New
Easier-to-Read Battery Status
The battery indicator now uses simple color zones, making it easier to check your battery level during your round:
- Green – High charge (100-70%)
- Yellow – Medium charge (70-40%)
- Orange – Low charge (40-10%)
- Red – Charge soon (10%-0%)
Please note: The battery level bar will remain full during operation. Battery health is now indicated by color only.
Battery readings have also been refined to provide more stable, consistent updates throughout your round.
Improved GPS & Course Navigation
This update includes several GPS enhancements, including:
- Better hole detection on courses with overlapping holes
- New Course Search feature
- Selected map targets now stay visible longer
- Tee boxes are now listed from longest to shortest
- Distance displays now consistently follow your Metric or Imperial preference
- New Map Error Reporting
If you notice an issue with course mapping, you can now report it directly from your device to help us improve course accuracy.
Improved Reliability
We've also made several behind-the-scenes improvements, including:
- Better handling when an internet connection isn't available
- Improved map rendering and GPS performance
- More reliable firmware updates by requiring sufficient battery charge before installation
- Improved Dark Mode preferences
- Parking brake operation now correctly matches the physical wheel position
- General bug fixes and stability improvements
